Well, this week I've been busy putting the finishing touches on my classroom and polishing up our reading lesson plans for the first six weeks. I am SO excited to get this year started. We are going to be trying some new and exciting things in reading this year. We will be implementing Daily Five along with continuing our balanced literacy approach. I will be creating a separate page soon to explain more about Daily Five.
Tomorrow afternoon from 5:15-6:15 is "Meet the Teacher Night" for fourth grade. Students will be able to bring supplies to leave in his/her desk.....makes Monday morning much easier! I hope all my students are able to make it. See you soon!!
